I was pretty much tied up this week with child care duties as the wife was out of town, but my friends were busy as ever.

Studio Update

This weekend I loaned the studio to the Chickasha Area Arts Council for their “1st Saturday” arts program.  Free to kids 14 and under, this program introduces new arts and crafts to the kids on the first Saturday of every month.  This month they made scarecrows and other glueables.  The kiddos had a great time.  Thanks to all who came out and especially thanks to the volunteers that make this program great.

Daddy/Daughter Breakfast Sketches

This week’s Daddy/Daughter Breakfast was a mad dash through McDonald’s on our way to soccer. We we’re going to go sketching after the game, but she left instead for a sleep over.  At least I got to drink her orange juice.
