I get the urge to do the Everyday Matters Challenges late at night. (That’s 9 or 10 p.m. for us old people.) So, in the morning when my lovely wife comes downstairs and sees a dining room chair in the hallway, she immediately begins looking for my sketchbook to see what I’ve done. Immediately is, of course, a relative term because it’s actually after twenty minutes of cussing me for leaving the chair out in the hallway where someone could knock it with their shin…
Doesn’t she know that it’s the poltergeists that leave the chairs (and other things) in the hallway? I understand her frustration, but really man, don’t take the blame for the poltergeists. They need to start taking responsibility for their own actions.
Theeeere Heeeeeere! Absolutely it was the poltergeists. Anything to keep me out of hot water, right?
I’ve been in that room and while the drawing has wonderful detail…the golf magazines are not there…so you see it had to have been the poltergeists.
